Cisco Pathways Work Experience – Virtual

Year 10-13 Work Experience

Opportunity Description

Cisco is a global leader in technology that powers the Internet. Founded in 1984 by a group of computer scientists from Stanford University, the company specialises in networking, security, collaboration, and cloud solutions designed to help businesses and organisations connect, communicate, and collaborate securely. By providing the essential hardware, software, and services for digital transformation, Cisco plays a critical role in how the world works, learns, and plays, all while pursuing its core purpose to power an inclusive future for all. This opportunity is for students in Years 11/12.

In our Pathways Work Experience, for the hybrid programme (offer in Feltham, Bedfont Lakes) you will spend the Monday and Friday in the office with Tuesday-Thursday online delivered via Webex. If you don’t live near an office we office this programme fully virtual too!

Over five days, you’ll meet and explore departments at Cisco, tackle a group business challenge, and develop key skills like interviewing and CV writing. You’ll also learn about the pathways into Cisco, hearing from our apprentices, interns and graduates 👩🏻‍💻

To join the virtual sessions, a device with a camera is essential; a laptop is ideal, followed by a tablet or phone.
